Tile Installation

The Best Details
This is where our passion lives. We cut tile to a precision of 1/32nd of an inch. Exposed cuts are sanded smooth, so there are no chippy edges. Studs are shimmed and planed, so that walls are extremely flat. Lippage control devices are employed to keep neighboring tiles flush with each other. Symmetry is of the utmost importance, so significant time is invested into layout planning. We are not a production company, meaning that our goal is not rapid completion so that we can move on to the next job. While recognizing that project duration is an important element, quality is never sacrificed for speed. Lastly, we handle one project at a time, so you receive our undivided attention.
The Right materials
While you only see the final product, we employ the right materials for the job, even the unseen ones. This involves using the right mortar for the tile. The right waterproofing. The right underlayment. The right grout. The list goes on. Every material is selected intentionally to bring about the best final product possible.
Showers
Methods of the past for building a shower had many problems. Even when the tile looks relatively clean for its age, the wall board behind it can be riddled with mold. Methods and technology over the past two decades have improved the matter, but proper installation requires significant know-how and as a result, many shower pans are holding as much as a gallon of water under the tile at all times, even when the shower hasn't been used in days.
We employ a bonded waterproofing system to ensure that your shower stays looking new longer. This is a fancy term that means that every square inch of your shower will be waterproofed, from the top of the tile to the inside of the drain.
Floors
Just like showers, floors benefit greatly from a tile floor. This material, when installed correctly, is incredibly resilient, safe for the environment and easy to maintain. In addition, you have a vast array of cosmetic options, both in style and layout, to fit your space and your vision.
