“I’d planned on installing kitchen backsplash in a large kitchen (counters, bar island, kitchen desk and butler’s pantry) myself. Then I found that tile installed in new homes (no primer/paint between drywall and mortar) is impossible to remove without taking all the drywall with it. I made a small mess in the butler’s pantry trying. I’d already bought the tile, grout, everything. I was capable, but not willing to replace all my drywall - far more work than I wanted to deal with.
So I requested quotes from several companies, with details on sq. ft., etc. Travis was the first to respond, with the most professional response- a very nice, detailed professional estimate, based on what I’d told him. He visited the site, and confirmed it - no changes at all. Based on the fact that it was a labor only job, no profit in materials, the price was very low. In fact, it was 3 days work, and the price for 2 laborers per hour was below what you could hire just about any tradesman for.
Workmanship was great, and I’m very picky. He had a couple of odd items to overcome from the way our walls and cabinets were constructed, but no change orders or increase in price. Showed up every day at PRECISELY 8:00, as scheduled. Covered, protected, and prepped everything perfectly. Very minimal dust & mess considering the work involved, and they cleaned up great.
And note that he does the work himself, with an assistant. Travis enjoys his work, and it shows - he’s a genuinely nice guy, super easy to work with. Overall, you just can’t ask for anything more out of a contractor, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. If I could give more stars, I would.

About the Owner
MY NAME IS Travis
For twelve years, my office was the cockpit of a regional jet, flying Delta flights across the United States. Several years ago, the Lord called me out of that profession and into Charash Renovations. Now, through years of hands-on experience, trade seminars and continuing education, I'm putting my second love to work. The professionalism and integrity that I learned as an airline pilot guide every aspect of every project. My desire is to glorify God in my work, be a source of provision for my family and to bring your renovation dreams to fruition within budget and on time.
